Do you have experience as a trainer or a youth leader already? Do you want to gain more skills in facilitating workshops and camps about Climate Justice and related topics with non-formal education methods? Then this online training course is the right thing for you! 

What and how?

This online training course will focus on giving you the tools and non-formal education methods to facilitate Climate Justice/Change related activities. This will include learning about topics like:

• Climate change
• Climate justice education
• Sustainable tourism
• Neocolonialism
• Global South & Global North

Of course, you will not learn only about climate change but about non-formal education as well. During the online training, we will use different non-formal education methods like storytelling, simulation games, drawing, quizzes, role-plays  and many more.

We will also cover:

• Activity management
• Group building

The course will consist of 30 hours of online sessions plus an evaluation after the practical phase, so in total 40 hours. We will meet twice a week,  Tuesday and Thursday (17:00 – 20:00 CET) from the 27th of October until the 26th of  November, 2020 (duration of 5 weeks). At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate as proof of participation. The training course will be held in English.

Who?

The main target group of the activity are young people and youth workers.
