InTouch – training workshop on youth exchange project management
3-8 November 2009, Germany
My impressions from InTouch in one word: great. I think it was a very good opportunity for people who want to start their own international youthwork projects. Hynek Pecinka, Czech Republic, participant to InTouch 2008

- Do you want to use the IYNF support framework for youth exchanges?

- what exactly is a youth exchange – why is it more than just a youth camp

- intercultural cooperation: how can the differences of participants coming from different countries be used as a great learning opportunity
During the workshop you can also meet and make friends with people from other countries, get new contacts, possible
partners for future cooperation, and simply experience a nice intercultural activity. IYNF website is the place to
read more and apply, if you do it before

IYNF News
More people in IYNF Secretariat
It is happening! We are happy to announce that we will be able to expand IYNF office team by more people. Already in one week, the office will get fuller with
Joris Taanman (NL), who will become on 1 February 2010 the IYNF Secretary General. Until then, Joris will coordinate preparation of the projects in the first half of 2010.
From September, we will have
Vanessa Hofeditz (DE) coming as an EVS volunteer to be joined from October by
Anna Swetnik (PL). They both will be working in a small Networking Team, together with
Martijn Van Den Berg (NL), who will be its leader from September on. This team will be in charge of all IYNF
magazines and newsletters and take care for the starting Networking programmes.
These changes really allow IYNF to boost its support to member organisations and their local groups for mutual coopeation and learning.
Variety magazine turns to IYNF Yearbook
For many year we kept on producing our magazine Variety, both, in printed as well as online version.
After a couple of meetings and hours of discussions we decided to cancel production of Variety as a magazine. We will turn into a yearbook!
We hope this way we will find more interested readers and contributors and as well safe some costs on its production.
For those who are looking for something easy and juicy to read by the lake we would recommend our other publications, for example
Tube.
For all the old issues of Variety you can always visit
IYNF website and download it in PDF or read it online.
In case you would like to receive a printed copy of
Yearbook, please contact its editor – Lucie (lucie[at]iynf.org).
We will advertise orders of Yearbook in the autumn.
