Planning Weekend 2008

Like every year IYNF core people - Volunteers, Staff, Presidium and Member Organisations - will get together. We will work on the evaluation and reflection of the previous IYNF activities and celebrate their successes, discuss the current IYNF development and plan the next year. IMOSC 2008, 20-23 November 2008
The International Mountain and Outdoor Sports Conference will be organised in the beautiful location of the castle Hruba Skala in the Czech Republic. This year with the focus on outdoor activities in educational and recreational programmes we aim to explore “why” and “how” to use outdoor activities in educational and recreational programmes, look into future where we are going and facilitate networking and contact making in the field. Touch down, 29 October - 2 November
Touch Down is a brand new project prepared to support networking among the local groups of the Naturefriends organisations. We would like to host two members from about 10-15 local groups from the whole Europe to give space for getting to know each other, finding ideas about common projects and increasing mutual cooperation. More information will come soon.

From September 2008 to May 2009, a new series of five Training Courses on European Citizenship will constitute a great opportunity for youth workers and youth leaders alike to explore this topic and its concrete significance in youth work. We are working on
Audit from the European Commission
In cooperation with Mr. John Syed, the auditor of the British company Moore Stephens, Petra is preparing the needed documents, financial overviews and bills of the year 2006 for auditing the EU operating grant 2006.
Staff members holidays
Ondrej will be out of the office from 18 till 26 August.
Petra is off for a longer weekend from 22 to 25 August.
Sophie is out from until 4 September
Simon is out for the entire August.
Rodrigo is gone until 2 September.
