After the concert of Depeche Mode two weeks ago and the Prep meeting of MTF from last week I am happy to be back in the office to send Courier to you. Tube II online for download!
Last week 100 issues were sent out all over Europe but since today you can also download Tube II from our website. Enjoy the reading! Contributions, opinions and feedback are always welcome on martijn (at) iynf. org. The first issue of Tube can also be found on our site.

MTF Prep meeting
From thursday evening till sunday morning about 16 freaks met in Szalka in Hungary where this years Meet the freak will happen. The team discussed many issues, visited the venue and the place for the final event but most of all worked together on practical arrangements. Besides that there was a meeting with the local major who is looking forward to the project and is cooperating very well. IFU and her volunteers were present and gave us a great support. On Saturday evening we celebrated Edits birthday. The weather during the whole meeting was great. Sunday morning everybody went home. Tired but satisfied and full motivation to work during the last month before the freak!
Media workshop
Yesterday Ondrej, Marie, Lucie and me had a whole days meeting on the topic media in IYNF. It was good and necessary to clarify this subject. The targetgroups of all media were specified and also the content of Tube, Courier, Variety and Calendar got special attention. Also the database and website plan got special attention and Wiki and the forum were also discussed. We have a much better overview now and will continue on working in the different fields of media.
This weekend Presidium meeting
The Presidium members are either getting ready for the trip or taking it already, as the meeting starts tomorrow morning. First on the agenda is a joint meeting with staff, the points for discussion are volunteers and networking in IYNF. In the afternoon the Presidium will move to Nachod, where the next Planning weekend will take place. The minutes will be announced in Courier when ready.
IMOSC publication ready
The book about the IMOSC International Mountain and Outdoor Sports Conference that happened November 2008 is ready. We will send it to all participants of the seminar.
