Activities and offers
Last chance to register as a partner of Teencamp Cultural fusion
Last week we presented to you our first networking program activity, which is the teen camp; Cultural Fusion. It will take place in the Netherlands from 14 until 21 August 2010. Member and partner organisations from Poland, Lithuania, Germany and Czech Republic showed their interest, but the more partners, the better! If your organisation is looking for a project to join in the summer of 2010 and if you work with youngsters in the age 13-16, then our proposal should sound as a great opportunity. Once again we encourage to have a look at the project description and inform the contact person if you want to become a partner.

We would like to remind you that there is some new stuff in our e-store. You can find t-shirts, neck travel-pillows, phone socks, towels and flasks with the IYNF logo. NFI E-publication about the tourism influence on climate change
Our mother organisation NFI is a serious contributor to the climate debate. As an input to one of the discussion at the current Copenhagen Conference, NFI issues a new e-publication titled “Tourism Development and Climate Change”, which is available on the NFI website. With this publication NFI and their partners, want to draw attention to the benefits of more sustainable ways of tourism and govern this.
Variety issues sent out
If you had ordered Variety issues from us, you can start to look out for the postman, because they were sent out on Tuesday. We are very happy that so many of you wanted to receive these collections of interesting articles. Although it was a bit of a challenge to go to the post-office in the rush hours with a huge and heavy suitcase full of packages, we did manage.
MTF follow-up meeting
This weekend Martijn and Anna from our office will go to Budapest to take part in the MTF follow-up meeting. It is not only organised to reflect upon Meet the Freak 2009, but also to create an opportunity to discuss about its future and prepare some fundaments, if it is to happen next year. We will inform you with all the outcomes of this gathering next week.

What can be better in this gloomy period between autumn and winter than a funky reminder of great summer time? Thanks to Asja we can present you the fantastic movie from one of our activities. This is a total “must-see” for all participants of this year’s edition of Meet the Freak, but for all others it is certainly the best way to encourage them to take part next time it happens.
