Networking Conference (with General Assembly)

22 - 25/4/2010Austria, Eben am Achensee

Follow up mailing of the documents from the Networking Conference / General Assembly is online here!

We would like to invite you to the IYNF General Assembly, this time designed as the Networking Conference.

Who is invited:
  • IYNF member organisations and their representatives (one from each organisation, more guests are possible too, on own expense or costs of MOs, IYNF will contribute to the travel)
  • People from local groups cooperating, or wishing to cooperate on the Networking projects
  • IYNF volunteers: MTF Heart core team, Ambassadors, Born To Be Wild team, volunteers involved in representation/delegation, those whishing to be involved in the upcoming projects
  • IYNF Presidium and staff

The main aims for the meeting are:
  • Continue with the implementation of the Workplan 2010, evaluate how things are going and where we need to focus on in order to make it happen (better)
  • Elect a (partly) new Presidium
  • Move forward especially with the networking programmes
  • Learn and get inspired
  • Evaluate and take lessons from the past
  • Integrate us as the stakeholders together

In May 2006 IYNF started a great adventure of organisational development, so called ‘Pimp my IYNF’. We worked hard and passionately for three years together with you on that process and came to a milestone agreement at the last Extraordinary General Assembly (EGA) in December 2008 in Olomouc. During this meeting we set up as top priority establishing and improving our network, consisting of you as our member organisations and your local groups. Since that time we not only work with our new Core Purpose, Core Products and Core Principles, we also are very active in keeping this IYNF network alive. And we feel that this is the right way to go!

Come and share with others, what moves you!
We have decided to combine our networking meetings with our statutory meetings to have all stake holders cooperating with each other on the planning and discussion for those topics they are keen for. Therefore this General Assembly will also to a big extent be a Networking Conference – very likely the biggest one IYNF has conducted so far! We invite you to be part of it and bring your ideas and interests for international cooperation and become active.

To make this event a successful Networking Conference, we think it is essential that there are sufficient peer groups present at such meetings: Board members, local group representatives, project coordinators, volunteers, finance experts and so on. We invite you not only to give it a good thought about what you want to discuss, but also with whom you would like to discuss during the conference! Therefore we ask you to invite your personal international peer group, to this General Assembly, so that your delegation also meets the people they would like to cooperate with. We think that this Networking Conference is a great chance for you to establish new partnerships and cooperation, to share and get inspired.
