How to get there
By plane
The three biggest cities approachable by plane are Innsbruck, Munich and Vienna. After arriving there, you will have to anyway change for a train. To plan your plane travel we recommend you to use http://www.skyscanner.com

By train
The closest train station to Eben am Achensee is Jenbach. Jenbach is very well connected to big cities. There is a direct train connection from Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof, Vienna Westbahnhof and also from Munich Hauptbahnhof. To search for the most fitting solution of your travel please consult the train timetable on the website of Austrian Railways - http://www.oebb.at – which is also available in English.

The last bit of your travel
Eben am Achensee is connected to Jenbach train station by regular bus lines 4080 and 8332. You can find the bus stop at the train station quite easily. When you are leaving the train platform taking the stairs down, turn left, go to the end of the corridor and take the stairs up. You will find yourselves across the rails from the train station building and there is a bus stop you should use.

The journey takes less than 20 minutes and you can find the daily timetable in the Practical information document. The stop, where you will have to get off is called Eben am Achensee Kirchenwirt and it is the first one when entering a smaller part of Eben called Maurach. You have to press the button so that the bus stops…if you didn’t manage to do so right on time, there is another bus stop called Steger very close to the Kirchenwirt one (marked on the map in the Practical information document). The hostel is just a few metres from both bus stops – when turning left from the main street (right if you left on the second bus stop) just go straight on, turn left behind the barn, say hi to statue of Virgin Mary there and continue walking straight until you reach the hostel, which will be on your right hand side.
