Symposium Outdoor Sports Education
18-21 November 2004, Czech Republic
The symposium organisers cordially invites you to submit your contributions focusing on education through outdoor sports.
The contributions should concern one of these topics:
- methodology of education through outdoor sports
- training and preparation of leaders and instructors for outdoor sports education
- quality standards for educational outdoor sports activities
Even though the possible variety of contributions is very wide, we would like to stress out that the symposium concerns outdoor sports as a method of non-formal education; therefore your contribution should concern this point of view as well.
Summaries not exceeding 250 words should be sent (in plain text format) to turcova@ftvs.cuni.cz for review no later than September 15, 2004.
Formal requirements
- The length of the text should not exceed 4000 words or 7 normal pages if tables or graphs are used.
- All the texts and figures must be submitted in English, however the oral presentation can be done in German
- Text should be sent in Microsoft Word format, Rich Text Format or as a plain text in ASCII. No characters that are not included in Western charset are allowed.
- Deadline for submitting the full text is September 30, 2004. Texts are to be sent to turcova@ftvs.cuni.cz.
Should you have any special requirements for the presentation of your contribution, please communicate it to Ms. Turcova by September 30, 2004.
