SYMPOSIUM PROGRAMME COMITEE

Doc. Jan Neuman, Ph.D. - president of the symposium Mr. Neuman is the head of Department of Outdoor Sports and Outdoor Education of Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of the Charles University in Prague. He is a recognized author of several publications on outdoor activities and an experienced outdoor sports courses leader.

Wilfried Meulenbergs Mr. Meulenbergs is a Technical Leader of the Mountaineering Section of International Friends of Nature (NFI) and of the Flemisch Friends of Nature (NVSF). In that function he has a years-long experience in training young people in the skills of mountaineering. He is a Director of Sports education in the Flemish National Sport Council (VTS-BLOSO), and thus responsible for the training and certification of all the recognized trainers in (rock-) climbing and mountaineering in Flanders (B). He is project leader for ‘Special Youth care’ at the Brussels University and uses outdoor sports as a therapy tool for young criminals.
