Expected results of the symposium:
ParticipationOne of the main features of the project is building cooperation and partnership among non-governmental organisations and educational institutions. Therefore experts from departments of outdoor sports and outdoor education of European universities, policy makers and decision-makers from European and national institutions and youth leaders and trainers from national organisations of the Friends of Nature movement are invited to the symposium.ContributionsParticipants are expected to contribute to the results of the symposium in the following ways:1) Text for the symposium proceeding These should be be sent by 15 September by e-mail to Ms. Turcova, turcova@ftvs.cuni.cz. Texts should contribute to one of the three topics of the symposium. Draft proceedings will be prepared beforehand for use during the symposium. Final and edited proceedings will be produced both in printed and electronic versions by the end of 2004. 2) Active participation in the working groups As the symposium is challenged by the expected conclusions, your active participation in the discussions during symposium's working group will be highly appreciated. Please indicate the topic of your written contribution and your choice of preferred working group in the registration form. The symposium is organised by two organisations, but its results will be widely distributed around Europe. The symposium is considered as a first step, which should be followed by further projects and you are more than welcome to take part in its development. Even though we can only invite one or two representatives from each country due to financial limitations, we believe that the potential of those attending to multiply is great and there |
