Now more than ever, there is a need for achievable and realistic solutions to strengthen democratic processes. Democracy Hacks: Shaping Strategies and Solutions will focus on practical strategies and skill-building for youth to tackle pressing democratic challenges.

In this training course, you will uncover the dangers of misleading political narratives and relate it to real-world examples. Together, we will then delve into building strategies to combat democratic erosion within the context of current social and political landscapes.

You will learn the key ingredients of effective activism to spark action online and at a local level. Alongside expert trainers, a local organization will provide good practice examples based on their experience.  With fellow youth workers and leaders, you will leap into action by co-creating online workshops using the skills and knowledge learned during the activity. As a follow-up activitywe will organise a series of online events for you to deliver these workshops and practice facilitation to then implement these in your own life and/or work.
