Are you passionate about making a difference and volunteering, connecting with new people, and sharing your skills? Would you love to spend a year working on international projects with a young, dynamic team?
We’re looking for two enthusiastic, socially engaged volunteers eager to explore social and environmental topics, contribute fresh ideas, and gain unforgettable international experience. If you're between 18 and 30 years old and want to make a difference, keep reading!
Who We Are
IYNF (International Young Naturefriends) is a European youth organisation that connects and empowers young people through non-formal education, intercultural exchange, and environmental activism. Founded in 1975, IYNF brings together over 120,000 young people across Europe who are passionate about building a just, sustainable, and inclusive world.
IYNF is grounded in strong values like solidarity, equality, sustainability, participation, and love for nature. In the secretariat that is based in Prague where IYNF creates spaces where young people can learn, take action, and grow together while making a real impact on society and the environment.
Volunteer with us
Each year, we welcome two international volunteers who stay for 12 months and become an integral part of our team.
You'll work 30 hours/week at our Prague office and contribute to:
- Managing our social media and website
- Creating promo materials, editing photos, and making videos
- Writing articles and supporting our e-volunteering network
- Helping organise workshops and international activities
- Learning about youth mobility programmes and helping promote them
- Communicating with our partner organisations across Europe
And there's more:
- Improve your English (up to C1) and learn Czech (up to A1)
- Join team activities and expand your social and professional competencies
Project Details
- Duration: 12 months
- Start date: September 2026
- Location: IYNF Office, Prague, Czech Republic
- Costs covered: Travel, accommodation, food allowance, pocket money, insurance
How to Apply
You can apply if:
- You’re 18–30 years old
- You can start in September 2026
- You have at least a basic command of English
- You're ready to commit to living in Prague for 12 months
- You are from one of the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Iceland, Liechtenstein
