Projects at IYNF
IYNF’s projects are shaped around a set of strategic priorities that respond to current social and ecological challenges, with a particular focus on issues affecting young people. Grounded in democratic engagement and sustainability, IYNF’s project work addresses a wide range of topics, including climate justice and democratic education.
Through its projects, IYNF creates spaces for critical reflection, skill development, and collective learning. Wellbeing, empowerment, and inclusivity are central to this work. While addressing complex and sometimes challenging topics, projects are designed to remain accessible and constructive, integrating creativity by using non-formal education.
In practice, IYNF’s projects provide non-formal educational opportunities across Europe, combining training activities with collaborative processes. Participants are actively involved in shaping the learning experience and contribute to the development of practical outputs, such as educational materials, digital resources, campaigns, or method collections, which are intended to support continued engagement and multipliers beyond individual activities.
