European Solidarity Corps

Are you looking for a meaningful, life-changing experience abroad?  

If your values align with IYNF’s Mission and you are eager to commit one year towards its ongoing implementation, the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) might be the perfect chance for you to grow alongside our aims. 

But first things first, what is ESC?

This project provides a long-term opportunity for young people to develop their key competencies and express their personal commitment through full-time voluntary work in a foreign country. There is no participation fee, and all the costs of your stay are covered by EU funding. This would include travel, accommodation, insurance and monthly pocket money for food and expenses. 

Volunteering in IYNF means having hands-on experience in the headquarters of one of the major European youth organisations, where your learning experience is put in the first place through a wide variety of tasks that can be adjusted according to your interests. From creating social media content to organising educational activities, the central Prague office will give you the chance to grow and obtain fresh knowledge about environmental education, sustainability, youth work, campaigning, social issues and much more. You will work around 30 hours per week, from Monday to Friday. 

You will also meet young, motivated colleagues from all over the world, which makes English the working language. However, a free Czech language course is provided via Online Language Support (OLS), which is part of the EU Academy platform. Due to its focus on internationalism, IYNF is very dedicated to the organisation of training and activities across Europe, which will give you extra possibilities to travel during your volunteering.
