Ecomaps is an online platform that supports IYNF’s values of sustainable travelling. There are two parts on this website. One is full of information about sustainable living and eating healthy and responsible, such as infographics, articles, charts etc. The other part contains a map, that shows you every sustainable place in currently 70 cities in more than 20 countries. There are six different categories where you can find everything you need as a tourist but also as a local, e.g. vegan/vegetarian restaurants, public parks, fair trade and bio shops, second-hand shops, NGOs dealing with environmental issues.

Ecomaps was founded in 2015 and was supported by the EU’s European Year for Development.

If you realize that something is missing, you can just add it. EcoMaps is based on volunteer work and a great functioning community, supporting each other. So, therefore it is important that more volunteers are joining to spread the idea!
