International Young Naturefriends (IYNF) is seeking candidates for the position of Networking Coordinator!

IYNF is an international youth umbrella organisation that brings together Young Naturefriends and their organizations across Europe. It currently has 18 member and 8 partner organizations with more than 120.000 young members organized in over a thousand local groups.

The core role of IYNF is to facilitate the cooperation between member and partner organizations and individual members by creating links, organizing meetings, providing direct support and promoting nature-friendly activities all over Europe.

The Networking coordinator is a member of Secretariat based in Prague, Czech Republic. The Secretariat currently consist of two full time employees and two long-term EVS volunteers and we are looking for an inspiring and responsible person to join the team.

The main responsibilities of the Networking Coordinator are to maintain the network of member and partner organizations, their local groups and active volunteers. This includes implementation of various projects and cooperation with internal and external stakeholders. He or she reports to IYNF Secretary General.

Requirements for the position

  • EU working permission
  • Proficiency in English (working knowledge of German, French or Czech is an advantage)
  • Compliance with the main values of IYNF
  • At least one year of working or volunteering experience in national or international NGOs
  • Experience in at least one of the fields of IYNF activity: international youth work, environmental and outdoor education, non-formal-education
  • Experience with facilitation of youth meetings is an advantage
  • An adequate university degree is an advantage
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, travel for meetings abroad and work on weekends when required
  • Willingness to work and live in Prague
  • Naturefriend affiliation is an asset, but is not required

 Conditions proposed

  • Fixed-term contract for the period of 6 months with the intention to prolong
  • Approbation period of 3 months according to the Czech Labour Code
  • Monthly salary 26.000 CZK gross

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining vivid relations with member and partner organizations and local groups
  • Development and coordination of existing and new IYNF networking programmes
  • Maintaining the database of IYNF contacts
  • Supervising the admission procedure for IYNF meetings, training courses and youth exchanges
  • Coordination of IYNF promotion activities
  • Partner search and matching for the networking programmes
  • Supervising IYNF website, courier and social media
  • Support of fundrasing and project management for IYNF projects
  • Representing IYNF on international, national and local networking meetings
