De Natuurvrienden (Flanders) proudly present Seven Summits, an ambitious experiment to climb seven mountains in Europe and seven ‘peaks’ in Belgium next year.

Each trip will be environmentally friendly and socially inclusive. The plan is not to simply step into a car, but examine whether we get on site in a more sustainable way and with limited financial resources. Therefore the journey takes place on sailboats, canoes, donkeys, public transport, … They will explore whether it’s still possible to clear this job in an affordable way and within a reasonable period of time.

It is also important that the participants work together and have respect for each other and for nature. This grand experiment – unique in Belgium – not only aims to reach experienced mountaineers. Families, seniors and people with disabilities are also happily invited to participate.
